The island’s women’s football team has not been drawn as one of the competing teams for next year’s Island Games.
With the men and women’s competitions limited to 12 teams a draw was held to decide which island’s would fill the available spots.
The selected nations are Orkney, Bermuda, Frøya, Gozo, Guernsey, Hitra, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Menorca, Shetland Islands, Western Isles and Ynys Môn.
Aland, Greenland and Isle of Man are in reserve should any of the 12 selected teams withdraw.
The island’s men’s team has been selected alongside Orkney, Hitra, Jersey, Bermuda, Shetland, Western Isles, Gozo, Froya, Ynys Mon, Menorca and Guernsey.
