After two cancelled fights and months of disappointment, Jade Burden says her win on Saturday was worth it all.
The Grenade knocked out Sydney Chambers in the first round on Saturday night at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
Jade said: “Nine months out the ring, two fights fallen through. Plenty of times I asked myself if it was all worth it…
“But Saturday reminded me: patience pays off. Every setback was fuel, Every doubt became drive. The feeling of being back under the lights, doing what I love, it made every hard day worth it.”
Signalling her intent to get back in the ring soon, Jade added” “Fight date coming very soon… Every setback’s been part of the journey. Grateful to be back doing what I love.”
