Meta Lounge is set to host a Pride Celebration this bank holiday weekend offering a vibrant mix of live music, family-friendly activities, and an after-party.
Located on Marine Parade, the Meta Lounge occupies the former site of an open-air swimming pool.
After years of quiet, this iconic location is being revitalised as a vibrant social space for the whole community.
Pride Weekend
DJ Smokin Jo, the only female DJ to have won DJ Magazine’s prestigious DJ of the Year Award, will be headlining the Pride celebration weekend.
Smokin Jo will close the festivities on Sunday (August 25), with a special sunset mix from 8pm to 10pm at Meta Lounge.
Following her set, the celebration continues with an exclusive Pride Afterparty at Bench Nightclub, hosted by Metabolizm Events.
“We are incredibly excited to host this Pride Celebration at Meta Lounge,” said Phil Quirk, Co-Founder of Meta Events.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase local talent, support the LGBTQ+ community, and create a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy. Having Smokin Jo headline is a dream come true and speaks volumes about the calibre of talent we’re attracting to the island.”
The event will kick off on Saturday (August 24) from 12pm running through until 10pm.
