Boal & Co announces new appointments and promotion

Local and international retirement benefit solutions provider, Boal & Co, has announced two new appointments in addition to the promotion of a key team member at its Isle of Man headquarters.

Karen Kelly, Group General Manager, said that this is an “exciting time for Boal & Co as we continue to grow and evolve our teams”.

New team members

Michiel Erasmus joins the team as an Actuary.

He takes responsibility for providing in-house actuarial support for Boal & Co’s pension administration and trustee teams.

In addition to risk-based capital reporting for life and non-life insurance companies.

Semanthe Beyleveldt joins the company as a Software Developer to strengthen the Group’s IT and development team.

Her remit includes developing and maintaining Boal & Co’s proprietary systems and supporting the teams across the Group with technical issues and system requirements.

A member of Boal & Co’s Group Operational Committees, Semanthe is also involved with project management as well as a wide range of IT support functions.

Promotion

Meanwhile, Sara Vaughan has been promoted to Head of Operations.

Having joined Boal & Co in 2018, Sara managed Boal & Co’s Isle of Man Group Personal Pension offering for several years as well as being instrumental in the development of the Group’s operational and business change processes.

Her expanded remit involves taking responsibility for the delivery of services across Boal & Co’s personal and corporate teams.

Working closely with each of the teams, Sara will seek to refine the alignment of operational processes and procedures while maintaining a key role in Boal & Co’s operational and business change team.

Charlie Morrey is a Broadcast & Multi Media Journalist for Manx.News and also is a Presenter on Energy FM. Charlie has previously written for Isle of Man Newspapers, magazines and also started her broadcasting career with Manx Radio.
