Bride Parish Commissioners says its residents can once again use the northern civic amenity site.
The local authority said it has reached an “amicable agreement” with the DoI alongside the other authorities that will see it guaranteed for a year.
Bride had quit the amenity site and engaged a private contractor citing growing costs which it viewed as being unfairly placed on its residents.
On its Facebook page Bride described the agreement as “between DoI and northern authorities to keep the site open for the next 12 months”.
Adding: “The DoI will endeavour to work on an agreement for future years.”
