With some parts of the island seeing fresh wintry showers and temperatures set to fall, Bus Vannin has set out its plans for tonight.

Bus Vannin said: “The forecast going into the evening is that the temperature will be dropping again after 6pm which is going to cause the roads in some housing estates to become more slippery and impassable for buses as we experienced this morning.
“Therefore our plan, if needs be, is to shorten some routes and just use major roads missing out some of the smaller estates.”
Routes that may be affected will Include Willaston, Windemere Drive, Ballachrink and the top road of Anagh Coar.
