Christa Cain brought home a new personal best over 10km and brought home a silver medal.
Christa was invited by Pro Direct Sport and Adidas to run the 10 kilometres road race at the Greek Championships in Athens this weekend.
She finished in second place with a new personal best time of 34:45.

There was a variety of distances run at the event, including a Marathon, and Christa was the only athlete from the British Isles to get onto the podium in any of the races.
Christa reports that it was a thoroughly enjoyable race. It was warm, with 88% humidity and an uphill start, and there was an incredible downhill final few kilometres to finish in the Panathenaic Stadium.
Also at the Athens event was Ollie Venables, who completed the Marathon in an excellent time of 3:23:58 – a huge 35 minutes taken off his pb and a massive sum of money raised for charity at the same time.
