Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston MHK has been asked to explain rejected town centre business funding bids.
The written Tynwald question has been tabled by Kate Lord-Brennan MHK, with a response due on February 3.
Ms Lord-Brennan is seeking a breakdown of how many applications from town centre businesses were turned down under each of the Local Economy Strategy Schemes, the basis on which those applications were rejected, and the types of improvements the unsuccessful bids had proposed.
The Local Economy Strategy Schemes are intended to support regeneration, innovation and footfall in town centres, with funding aimed at helping businesses invest in improvements that strengthen local high streets.
