Douglas Road in Peel has been closed this afternoon while Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service crews deal with a fire at Peel Golf Course.
Pumps and emergency vehicles are currently blocking the route, and police are asking motorists to use alternative routes into and out of Peel.
The closure runs from the Tynwald crossroads in St John’s through to the junction with Queens Drive and Albany Road in Peel.
Emergency services have thanked the public for their patience while the incident is dealt with.
