The funeral of a legend of the Manx music scene will be held next week.
Raz McVeighty, 61, died suddenly earlier this month while on a trip to see a festival in England, sparking tributes from friends, bands and businesses.
His funeral will be held Douglas Borough Crematorium on Friday July 25 at 11.30am.
David Lancaster Funeral Directors Limited said: “Much loved son of the late Keith and Alison and much loved stepson of Ronnie, loving brother of Ian and Tracey, loved by Ian’s partner Samantha, best mate of Curly.
“He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.”
It added: “No particular dress code, Raz style band T-Shirts more than welcome.“
Family flowers only, but donations in lieu may be sent to Manx Wild Bird Aid, 11 Victoria Road, Castletown, Isle of Man, IM9 1EN or Animals in Distress c/o Anita Williams 4 Mona Street, Ramsey, IM8 1BD.
A fundraiser to pay for his funeral and give Raz “the send off he deserves” has raised over £8,000.
