A group that has been holding vigils for Gaza says that “everyone needs to wake up to what is happening”.
The Isle of Man Group of Amnesty International says that the Manx Government have had “three parliamentary opportunities to extricate us from complicity in the genocide”.
It says that government have “chosen to stand firmly in line with the UK’s deliberate assistance in the slaughter and butchery of an entire population”.

Amnesty will be holding a series of demonstrations at locations and events over the coming month.
It says it will be “demanding our government sends a clear message of concern about the UK government’s violations of international laws which also implicates the Isle of Man”.
Phil Matthews, Chair of Amnesty IOM, said: “Everyone needs to wake up to what is happening – there are still innocent people that can be saved from this evil madness – but it is too late for all those cruelly slaughtered or seriously maimed when some governments (including ours) chose to stand with Israel.”
