Mourners came together today to mark the life of Chris Garrett, who lost his life volunteering in Ukraine.
Garrett, better known as Swampy, was killed in an incident near Izyum in the east of the country on May 6th.
The service at St German’s Cathedral in Peel, heard how much the work of his charity meant to the people of Ukraine.
As well as clearing land mines he also co-founded the humanitarian and mine clearance charity Prevail Together.
