The Isle of Man has been named the third safest place to live in the world by the Global Residence Index.
Our humble island followed Liechtenstein in first place and Andorra in second.
Monaco came in fourth, Jersey fifth, Gibraltar sixth, Singapore seventh, Switzerland eighth, Iceland ninth, and Japan in tenth.
Safest Place to Live
The Global Residence Index, powered by Vancis Capital, found that its top ranking places have cities with very small population sizes.
The exception to this rule being Singapore, it was given the most credit out of its rankings.
It has found that the countries with low birth rates and older populations tend to be safer.
