A part of the coast road from Ramsey to Onchan will be closed today to facilitate the fitting of road studs.
The team from Manx Rock has had to return to the Hibernia and Dhoon section to complete some of the works in that section.
The road is closed to through traffic this morning until approximately 1pm.
Use Other Road
The Department of Infrastructure says that through traffic between Ramsey and Onchan should use the A18 Mountain Road.
Scheduled buses will be allowed through the works.
