A Douglas wine bar has announced it will be closing its doors next month.
Vino said its final day of trading will be Saturday May 9, citing “ongoing challenges across the trade” and the end of its lease.
In an announcement, the company said the decision had not been an easy one, adding: “Vino has always been more than a wine bar; it’s been a place for friendships, celebrations, and countless shared moments.”
While the physical shop is closing, the business will continue online. Customers will still be able to order from its “ever-changing range of wines” via its website, with direct-to-home delivery continuing as normal.
Support
The team thanked the community for their support, stating: “We’re incredibly grateful for your support, your stories, and your company over the years.”
Special offers are expected across the full range as the bar approaches its final weeks, with the owners expressing a hope to “raise a final glass” with customers before the end.
