Fire crews from Ramsey, including the Specialist Water Rescue Team were called out following reports of a car stranded in flood water in the north of the island with people trapped inside.
Upon arrival the four occupants had managed to free themselves from the vehicle and took refuge on its roof.
Crews were able to rescue all involved who were thankfully uninjured during the event.
The fire service said: “Weather warnings continue to be in force throughout various times of the day. Please drive to the conditions and follow the previously published advice.”
