The Roads Policing Unit seized 17 vehicles over 10 days during the Manx Grand Prix period.
Offences included vehicles being in an un-roadworthy condition or no road tax and their drivers having no licence and no insurance.
The RPU said: “Our team of dedicated officers have been working long days, with reduced days off to ensure this operation could be as successful as possible in terms of keeping the roads safe.
“Our presence on the roads and enforcement of the laws are vital in preventing road traffic collisions, this meaning that residents / visitors can use the island safely!
“What may seem like just a fine and some points, can change a persons approach to driving / riding, meaning that through becoming a Police statistic themselves, they don’t create the next KSI statistic (Killed or seriously injured) by taking away a loved one.”
