The education department has published a raft of historical design plans for the proposed new Castle Rushen High School.
The documents, released after a question from Julie Edge, include feasibility studies and strategic briefs dating back to 2008, as well as the November 2022 master plan produced by the Manx Development Corporation.
However, the department confirmed that the concept design report by AtkinsRealis has not been released, stating it has “not yet completed the required governance steps within the capital programme process”.
In her response, Education Minister Daphne Caine said the 2022 master plan had been circulated to Tynwald members under parliamentary privilege in February 2023, with costings removed.
AtkinsRealis concept images shared publicly in February 2026 were attached to the response, though the department noted “the design is an ongoing process and has yet to complete, as such, no such report can be released”.
