The Isle of Man delivered a dominant display at the 2026 Quad Nations Netball Series, winning all three of their competitive fixtures to claim the tournament title.
The three‑day event, held from February 20 to 22, brought together teams from the Isle of Man, France, Malta and Switzerland for a full round‑robin contest.
The nations last met in May 2025, setting up a highly anticipated rematch across an action‑packed weekend.
Play opened on Friday evening with two friendly mixed‑squad matches between the Isle of Man and France, before the main competition got underway on Saturday with four fixtures.
The series concluded on Sunday with the final two matches.
Unbeaten Run Secures the Trophy
The Isle of Man proved the standout side of the tournament, recording convincing victories over all three opponents:
- Isle of Man 48–41 France;
- Isle of Man 54–33 Malta;
- Isle of Man 70–45 Switzerland.
France finished runners‑up, helped by a narrow win over Malta in their final game.
Milestones and Standout Performances
The series also marked major personal achievements for several Manx players.
Rachel Johnstone and Ashley Hall each earned their 50th international cap, celebrating years of commitment to the national side.
Alice Cross reached her 25 cap milestone, while Sarah Long made her international debut, receiving her first cap.
Player of the Match awards went to Stephern Mulhern, Ashley Hall, and Lexa Hattersley for their influential performances across the weekend.
