FC Isle of Man picked up their first win of the season with a 1-3 win away at Irlam on Tuesday night.
First half goals from Jack McVey and Sam Baines gave the Ravens a two goal lead at the break, but with half chances for Dean Pinnington and Dan Hattersley and Charlie Higgins, they could’ve had more.
The second half saw Sean Doyle head home a third from McVey’s tremendous delivery from a free kick before Declan Daniels pulled one back for the hosts.
Despite significant pressure from Irlam, Adam Kelley and his defence held strong to ensure the three points were brought back across the Irish Sea.
