Hospice Isle of Man are bringing a brand-new event to the island for runners of all abilities out there – the Flutter International Hospice Half Marathon.
The half-marathon will take place on Sunday, March 23 in the town of Ramsey and the North of the Island.
His Excellency Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer dropping the starting flag at 9am on West Quay.
Hospice Half Marathon
The course will be a brand new, flat fast course, starting through the main streets of the town before heading over the Swingbridge and onto the wider course.
Runners will then return to the town, to finish up West Quay and into Market Place.
The Hospice Half has been made possible by the support of sponsorship partners; Flutter International.
Entry to the half-marathon costs just £45, with a £5 discount offered to members of Isle of Man and UK affiliated running or athletics clubs.
All participants are eligible for a free branded t-shirt.
Get Training
Hospice Isle of Man are also providing a training plan created by the Isle of Man Athletics Development Officer and Commonwealth Games athlete Ollie Lockley to help runners achieve their best time in the event.
All money raised from the half-marathon will go towards supporting the Hospice at Home service which enables people with life-limiting illnesses to receive expert nursing care and support in the comfort of their own home, in their final days.
