Earlier this year the a badly injured ginger cat named Sandy was fighting for survival after being rescued by the MSPCA.
Donors across the island supported an appeal made by the charity to fund surgery for the injured cat found.
The MSPCA have shared that three months on Sandy is “making fantastic progress”.

The charity said: “He’s now wearing a specialist boot on his back paw to support his mobility, and he’s become more active in recent days.
“Sandy has also been well enough to receive his vaccinations, make a few feline friends, and remind us all just how gentle and affectionate he truly is.”
The cat remains under veterinary care while his internal health continues to stabilise, but the charity says his “journey so far has been incredibly positive”.
