Isle of Man Post Office has launched a new series of stamps which celebrate six legendary performers who lit up the island’s stages.
The collection celebrates classic entertainment and the joys of variety entertainment on the Isle of Man.
The Post Office said: “Featuring iconic Manx venues and variety acts from across the world, we celebrate the nostalgia of days gone by; where locals and visitors alike would queue around the block to see their favourite act at venues such as Onchan Head Pavilion and the Palace Coliseum.
“Most of these acts would visit the island at the start of their seasons, before moving onto other resorts, showing the importance of the Isle of Man as a holiday resort.”
