The Steam Packet says an update will be given on the Manannan’s sailings later this afternoon.
A generator control failure led to the fast craft turning round shortly after leaving Douglas.
The company said: “Engineers are continuing to work on a fix for the technical issue onboard and a further update will be issued by 1:45pm.”
Manannan is currently due to leave Douglas at 3pm.
