The MSPCA has thanked generous donors who replaced money taken from it when one of its charity boxes was stolen.
Its store in Ramsey saw its charity box disappear, which followed a similar incident in Port Erin with a Poppy Appeal tin.
The animal charity said that it had received two donations from people who wanted to replace the money it lost.
It said: “One generous donation from Ian & Deanne was gratefully received as well as another donation from a very kind supporter who would like to remain anonymous.
“Thank you to the lovely donators, despite the sad actions from others, this act of kindness is a reminder of what a caring and supportive island we live on.”
