SPAR Isle of Man and Mannin Retail have raised more than £22,800 for Hospice Isle of Man over the past two years.
The partnership is set to continue in 2026 with a new fundraising initiative.
From this year, 10p from every cup of coffee sold in SPAR stores will be donated directly to Hospice, adding to the retailer’s existing fundraising efforts.
Contributions From Sales
The move builds on two years of activity across Mannin Retail’s island‑wide SPAR network, including donation boxes, raffles and contributions from sandwich and wrap sales.
In 2025 alone, SPAR Isle of Man raised £15,200.47 for Hospice, with staff and customers credited for their support.
Mannin Retail Managing Director Vic van den Heever said the partnership ensures “every sandwich, raffle ticket and now every cup of coffee” helps fund Hospice services, with all money raised staying on the Island.
Hospice’s Vanessa Smith said community backing from SPAR makes a “real difference every single day”, with 80p of every £1 donated going directly to patient care.
The new coffee initiative is delivered through SPAR’s partnership with Ground & Co.’s Grounds for Good, offering customers another simple way to support Hospice.
