Vagabonds kicked off 2025 with a home win on Saturday as they ran in four tries against Orrell.
The win avenged Orrell’s win when the two sides met back in September last year.
The away side took an early lead through two penalties and two tries before Mitch Wells went over for Vagas to leave them trailing 16-5 at the break.
Despite that setback, Vagas came swinging in the second half as Tom Gacoyne and Nathan Wyllie both scored tries before Jon Reilly scored the final try in the closing stages, with the extra points kicked by Cam Findlay.
Vagas are back on the road next Saturday as they head to sixth placed Burnley.
