Milan Vets has announced it will no longer offer services to farms from the end of the month.
In a letter to customers it says the vet practice has focused on delivering improved services to farmers over the past 18 months.
However, despite having implemented measures it says it has seen a drop in demand for its services.
As a result, from November 30 the Farm Services branch of Milan will shut.
It says: “The decision has not been made lightly, and we recognise the impact this closure will have on both our teams and the wider farming community.”
Milan Vets small animal and equine services are unaffected.
