What The Windfarm Will Look Like

Manx Utilities have published projected views from around the south of the island.

The visuals show views from Port St Mary, Ballasalla, The Sloc and Ballabeg.

Surveys

Consultants Wardell Armstrong are continuing ecology surveys at Earystane and Scard ahead of it going for planning this summer.

The surveys are part of the addendum to the environmental impact assessment, for the proposed Cair Vie onshore windfarm project.

This work was requested by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture in its response to the scoping repor.

It also supports the planning application process and accompanying environmental impact assessment.

The schedule of supporting surveys are scheduled to take place from June to October 2025.
