Chris Robertshaw will be dissecting what is wrong with our government at a public meeting next week.
At 7:30pm next Monday (March 17), the Positive Action Group will be holding a public meeting at the Manx Legion in Douglas.
Robertshaw will be presenting on his view of the island’s pressing fiscal and political challenges.
At the meeting he will be addressing the simple question: “What is wrong with our government?”.
What’s Wrong?
The former Minister, seeks to answer this question by focusing on the serious concerns he holds regarding the island and its future.
He is passionate in his conviction that the island is heading towards serious economic and fiscal problems in the near future and that action needs to be taken to address them now.
In his address he will analyse the recent Budget and his view of the negative implications for residents and the economy going forward.
Structural Flaws
He will also highlight his view of the serious structural flaws in the island’s governance, the growing democratic deficit in relation to government policy and his proposals for urgent reform.
At the meeting there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
Doors open from 7pm on the night.
