The Wildlife Park has launched an appeal for donations of garden furniture to help refurbish its summer house on a “very tight budget.”
The Park hopes to rent out the revamped space to raise “much-needed funds.”
In a social media post, organisers said they are seeking “sturdy, comfortable outdoor seating that adds a touch of charm and relaxation to the space.”
They added: “A missing cushion or two is no problem at all — as long as the main structure is in good, usable condition.”
Those with suitable items are encouraged to contact the Park directly. “If you think you might have something suitable, we’d love to hear from you!” the post said.
The initiative aims to support the Park’s conservation efforts while offering visitors a cosy retreat.
