The Ben-my-Chree will operate tonight’s Heysham services, while engineers work on an issue with Manxman.
Smoke was detected on Manxman during her overnight crossing from Heysham.
Due to this, the company says the former flagship will operate tonight’s sailings.
Passengers are asked to check in as normal.
The company said: “If you have a cabin booked on this sailing which has been affected by the vessel change, our Reservations team will contact you in due course.
“If you have an online account on our website you can log in and amend your booking free of charge, alternatively you can contact Reservations on 01624 661661 or 08722 992 992.”
