A former phone box in Willaston is the new home for a public access defibrillator in Douglas.
Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation unveiled the live saving which was supported by John Wannenburgh MHK.
Chairman Paul Healey said: “An absolutely fantastic public access defibrillator launch today outside the shops in Willaston.
“This one has taken us a while to get done but we are delighted that with the help and financial backing of John Wannenburgh this machine is now registered and ready for use, should it be needed.
“Huge thanks to John for this one.”
The charity is holding its anniversary black tie ball later this summer with guest speaker Kevin Keegan.
