Manx Utilities has so far spent more than £3.1m on consultancy fees for its onshore windfarm project, an FoI request has revealed.
The breakdown, dated April 30 2025, shows £3,138,932.97 spent on environmental, legal, planning, and other consultancy services.
Project management costs were not itemised, as they form part of a broader “Transition Programme.”
Payments to external contractors or advisors were included in the consultancy total, while travel and community engagement expenses were flagged as accessible via Tynwald’s Hansard records.
No payments have been made to windfarm developers, but supplier costs totalled £16,348.22.
