A written question has been tabled in Tynwald asking when Manx Utilities expects to stop routinely operating the combined‑cycle gas turbine generator at Pulrose.
As well as what long‑term plans are in place should the facility need to continue running.
Ramsey MHK Alex Allinson has put the question to Manx Utilities Chair John Wannenburgh, seeking clarity on both the expected timescale for winding down regular use of the plant and the strategy for maintaining its operational capability in future.
The question is due for written answer by July 22.
